Shooters killed a Pries and five other church members during mass Sunday in an assault in a Catholic church in Dablo, northern Burkina Faso.

Witnesses said:

Towards 9.00 am, amid mass, armed people burst into the Catholic church," the civic chairman of Dablo, Ousmane Zongo, told AFP. "They began terminating as the assemblage endeavored to escape." 



"They murdered five of them. The priest, who was commending mass, was likewise executed, conveying the quantity of dead to six." 

The aggressors set flame to the congregation, a few shops and a little bistro before going to the nearby wellbeing focus, which they plundered and consumed the central medical attendant's vehicle, said Zongo. 

A security source said somewhere in the range of 20 and 30 shooters did the assault. 

Sunday's assault was the most recent of an arrangement did against Christian houses of worship in Burkina Faso. 

Last Sunday, shooters killed five individuals in an assault on a Protestant church in the little northern town of Silgadji.
